What if the power goes out?

The unit stops running. That's it.

Atmospheric water generators need electricity to operate (condensation requires cooling). If power goes out, production stops. When power returns, it resumes.

That said: The water already in your storage tank is still good. Depending on your model, you've got anywhere from 30-10,000 liters of reserve water sitting there ready to use.

For true off-grid operation, pair with solar panels and battery backup (our Solar GENNY is designed exactly for this). For grid-tied homes, you're producing so much water daily that short outages won't leave you dry.

Does it work in dry climates?

Yes. Better than you'd think.
